A home cinema using a CineWide system is unmistakable, and it has many advantages over a standard 1.78:1 (16:9) set up. A CineWide projection screen is 20% wider for full cinematic viewing, black bars are removed from the top and bottom of the picture; saving light output making the projected image brighter and saving resolution for the main movie feature. Also, the movie image is displayed uncompromised, in the native aspect ratio that the director intended.
